In life there will be hard times. Guaranteed! How you handle the hardship will be a testimony.
When you have Christ in you, God is on your side. He will restore you and make all things new.
I praise God for this reminder when I read Psalm 71:20-21:
- “You have let me see troubles and hard times, but you will give me new life; you will lift me up from this pit of death! You will help me do even greater things. You will comfort me again!”
Throughout this past week people have asked, “How are y’all doing?” I can confidently say that we are okay. Why? Because I know that God is holding us up. When we get weak in the knees, we can feel God lifting us up.
Whether your hard time is a loss of job or a loved one, health or relationship issues, or whatever trouble comes your way, put your confidence in God. He will use your experience to glorify Him to others. He takes your “pit” and fills it with His grace and love.
The choice is yours. God WILL give you a new life and help you to do great things for Him, IF you allow Him to.
I choose to live in Christ and Him in me. (John 14:22-15:10)
