How can I stay upset with these lovelies?
Thank You, God, for Holly, Hunter, and Cole!

Do you ever feel like you are at your “wits-end”?  Boy, I do.
Hey, think about the stage I’m in…one child (yes, once my child, always my child) who is an adult, one smack in the middle of teen-hood, and one who will be in their teens next year.  Each sibling has a different personality. (That always amazes me.)
I’ve often stated how life is like a roller-coaster ride.  Right now I’m wondering if me jumping out of that airplane   was that crazy after all.  Jumping out of a plane is cakewalk compared to raising children.
Forgive me, I feel like my mind is racing in a million directions when I start rambling about raising kids.  Let’s just get to the point.  My thoughts on raising teens turned to thankfulness to God when I read Psalm 116:5-6.  It says, “God is gracious—it is He who makes things right, our most compassionate God. God takes the side of the helpless; when I was at the end of my rope, He saved me.” (MSG)
Ahhhh, it is comforting to know that God makes things right. When    (you fill in the blank)    makes you feel like you just don’t know what to do, God saves you.
This weekend I felt like I was “at the end of my rope” with a child-situation.  I knew that I could call others for advice (and I did call one), but before I was counseled by one godly friend, I turned my cry for help to my Heavenly Father.
Back up to verses 1 and 2 in Psalm 116.  It says, “I love the Lord, for He heard my voice; He heard my cry for mercy. Because He turned His ear to me, I will call on Him as long as I live.”
Brother and Sister, there are so many reasons why I LOVE the Lord, but Psalm 116:1 is one of many reasons why I do.  I needed guidance.  I called out to Jesus.  He heard the cry of His child and comforted me.  Thank You, Jesus!
All is well now, and like I always say, “This too shall pass”.
Yes, there will times in life when you feel like you just don’t know what to do, but I know Someone who does know.  His name is Lord.  Call out to Him and watch Him see you through your situation.
For the record…I do have some pretty awesome children!  Are they perfect? No way! (Sorry to bust your bubble grandparents.)  But neither am I. We are learning together on this ride call Life.  I’m just grateful to know The Parent who is in charge, and it’s definitely not me.
I pray God’s abundant love and blessings for y’all.
