Can you make out what is wrong with this picture? Yes, this is just wrong!
You see, we keep a ceramic bowl full of M&Ms® on our counter top for those moments when you’ve just gotta have a little taste of chocolate. When I reached into this bowl of goodies and popped a few in my mouth I got a big surprise. Ugh! Who did this?
My first thought was, “Who deceived me? This is just wrong!” Here I was ready to enjoy the taste of milk chocolate from my normal bowl of M&Ms®, and the taste that I was expecting turned out to be a burst of Skittles® between my teeth. Now, seriously, isn’t that just wrong?
In Psalm 43:1 we read, “Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked.” Yep, that’s what I was thinking. “Rescue me from the wickedness of this prank.”
Okay now, I’m not a “Skittles® Hater”, I just don’t believe those two candies are “equally yoked”.
There, I’ve said my peace. I love my choc-A-LOT. Don’t come between the two of us.
