Thank You, Lord!
He always knows the right verse or life experience to show me when I’m either about to, in the middle of, or have just past a situation.
Yesterday I came home from work and Tim told me something that right away I began praying for. Several times throughout the night I would wake up and begin to pray for that situation. I specifically prayed for peace each time.
Well, when it was finally time to rise-and-shine I read my bible-verse-for-the-day and here is what I read:
“Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble.” Psalm 119:165
Again… Thank You, Lord!
Do you need some reassurance of peace over a circumstance today? God’s got plenty of peace to share with you.
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27
“Oh! May the God of hope fill you up with joy, fill you up with peace, so that your believing lives, filled with the life-giving energy of the Holy Spirit, will brim over with hope!” Romans 15:13
“And He will be our peace” Micah 5:5a
(And there are sooooo many more verses about the peace that comes from God. Get in His word and seek it.)
Let God be your peace today. Find peace in Him.
