What is the bible?
The bible is:

• Alive
• The Moderator of our thoughts and attitudes
• God’s Breath on Pages
• The Training Book for Life
• The Light to Guide my path
• Endures Forever
• The Book of Truth and Righteousness
• God’s word
• Praiseworthy
• Planted in you
• The Beginning and The End
• Jesus
• Glory
• One-of-a-kind
• Generous
• And so much more!

¹⁶ All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, ¹⁷ so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Hebrews 4:12 NLT
Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalms 119:105
The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever. Isaiah 40:8 NIV
For the word of the Lord holds true, and we can trust everything he does. Psalms 33:4 NLT
In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? Psalms 56:4
The Lord is the source of wisdom; knowledge and understanding come from his mouth. Proverbs 2:6 ERV
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. James 1:21
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1 NIV
The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish. John 1:14
I want to encourage you, even challenge you, to open up the bible, read it, believe it, and apply it to your life.
It has changed my life immensely! And I am a work in progress that continues to yearn for the discipline, enlightenment, and guidance it provides to my life on a daily basis.
