Good morning, Sunshine!

Rise and shine, because today is a new day.

Do you sometimes feel that you just need a fresh start?

Here are more than a few truths I jotted down while reading Psalm 19 this morning. I pray that you find them refreshing and encouraging as you begin your day.

  • Each day is NEW.
  • Each day is a gift from God.
  • We learn more about God and His power every day.
  • Sometimes His words are inaudible, yet are still commanding, and is far reaching.
  • Joy comes with each new day.
  • Each day brings a sense of eagerness.
  • Each day finishes, so it can begin again.
  • His ways are beyond compare.
  • God’s ways are strength giving, trustworthy, right, give insight, and make you happy.
  • His ways teach us the right way to live, even when we are acting like a fool.
  • Be respectful to the Lord. Reverence for the Lord is pure and lasts forever.
  • God’s ways are true and fair to and for all.
  • His teachings are priceless.
  • When you obey His word, great is your reward.
  • God can and will cleanse you from ALL your sins, even those you didn’t realize were sins. Just call out to Him.
  • Pray that your words and thoughts and deeds are pleasing to the Lord.
  • The Lord will rescue you in times of trouble.

Go ahead and read Psalm 19 for yourself. See what insight you learn from His words.

The heavens tell about the glory of God. The skies announce what His hands have made. Each new day tells more of the story, and each night reveals more and more about God’s power. You cannot hear them say anything. They don’t make any sound we can hear. But their message goes throughout the world. Their teaching reaches the ends of the earth. The sun’s tent is set up in the heavens. It comes out like a happy bridegroom from his bedroom. It begins its path across the sky like an athlete eager to run a race. It starts at one end of the sky and runs all the way to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat. The LORD’s teachings are perfect. They give strength to His people. The LORD’s rules can be trusted. They help even the foolish become wise. The LORD’s laws are right. They make people happy. They LORD’s commands are good. They show people the right way to live. Learning respect for the LORD is good. It will last forever. The LORD’s judgments are right. They are completely fair. His teachings are worth more than pure gold. They are sweeter than the best honey dropping from the honeycomb. His teachings warn his servants, and good things come to those who obey them. People cannot see their own mistakes, so don’t let me commit secret sins. Don’t let me do what I know is wrong. Don’t let sin control me. If you help me, I can be pure and free from sin. May my words and thoughts please you. LORD, you are my Rock, the one who rescues me. Psalm 19

I am praying for you now to be joyful in all circumstances, have an unquenchable thirst for God, and to know that He will right your every wrong. I am praying that you will be refreshed by His truths and promises. I am praying that you will stand firm in His love and power today. Remember…each day is a clean slate. Yes, we get down, make mistakes, and feel lonely at times, but…trust in Him and hold your head up high because God loves and cares for you.

Enjoy soaking up The Son each day, wherever you are. Blessings to you and yours, Stephanie.

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

God, you are my God. I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.Psalm 63:1

Hello….Just wanted to thank you for your words today. I really needed them and God knew I needed to hear them and He sent you to say them. THANK YOU!!! I was going through something this morning and when I read that we make mistakes, to trust in Him and hold your head up high because God loves and cares for you, is just what I needed to hear. I prayed for God to forgive my mistake and I honestly felt myself feel lighter, as if He had taken that worry away from me. I know that praying always helps but this felt different and I wanted to THANK YOU so much for your wonderful writings. Have a great day and blessings to you Stephanie…you are truly a great person.
