Yesterday in class, I confiscated a tiny piece a paper that a boy was writing on.  He was writing down the name of or words from a song.  He said he was going to go home and look it up. Oh me, Oh my!  Those words should not be said or written down.  I chatted with him about the whole “Garbage In, Garbage Out” theory.  I wish I could quote Proverbs 4:23-24 to him.  It says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.”  I guess I did in a way, without being “spiritual” in the public school.  Please pray for our children and youth.  There have always been perverse things out in the world for us all to corrupt ourselves with, but it just seems so much more prevalent now in today’s society.  Ugh! (Ha! I’ve got a song or two he can “google” when he gets home. :0))
