Carpe diem

I wish I had more time to…. Read, play with the kids, learn a new recipe, sleep, hang with my friends, spend with the one I love, play ball, clean out my closet … you fill in the blank.  We often say that we wish we had more time to do something. Well, today is the day. Cease it! You have been given a whole day extra.  Happy Leap Year!
One of my favorite verses in scripture regarding time is Esther 4:14, “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS?”
God put YOU here on this earth for a purpose during this time. He has great plans for you.  Seek Him and you will discover that purpose.
One praise song we often sing is called “Come, now is the time to worship”.  Part of the lyrics go like this:
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
One day ev’ry tongue will confess You are God
One day ev’ry knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those
Who gladly choose You now

Have you given your heart to Jesus? Now is the time. What are you waiting for, secure your place in heaven and begin living life more abundantly. Jesus said so in John 10:10. He wants you to enjoy a life better than you ever imagined.
Time,. Now you’ve got it. What will you do with it? Carpe diem!
