I am so grateful that God allows things to happen in my life that I can look back on and see where His Word is, can be, and will be applied to my life.  I had a simple conversation with a boy at school the other day.  (Now, that I think about it, this same conversation comes up quite often with many.)  He showed me how he had received “lunch detail” from another teacher. I asked him why and he admitted to doing wrong.  So the conversation continued by me inquiring him if he likes getting in trouble (this was not his first offense.  He replied and shook his head, “No, ma’am.”  Now, my question to you: “Isn’t that a question for each of us?” “Yes, ma’am.”  We know right from wrong, but sometimes the wrong just sneaks up and has a way of showing itself.  Proverbs 5:1-2 says, “Dear friend, pay close attention to this, my wisdom; listen very closely to the way I see it. Then you’ll acquire a taste for good sense; what I tell you will keep you out of trouble.”  Another fine example of why we need to read, listen, learn, and apply God’s Word to our life. Happy Sunday, and try to stay out of trouble.
