Boy oh boy, the teacher in charge of recycling at my school would have a busy and overflowing bin if what we recycled daily was the list that I read in Mark 7:20-23. Jesus said, “It’s what comes out of a person that pollutes: obscenities, lusts, thefts, murders, adulteries, greed, depravity, deceptive dealings, carousing, mean looks, slander, arrogance, foolishness—all these are vomit from the heart. There is the source of your pollution.”
Checkout the list of pollutants mentioned. Do you have poisons in you that need to be sent to the recycling plant?  Think about it. When all forms of products that can be recycled in our world go through a process, all involve heat at some point, and then the product is transformed into something new.  Yes! That is exactly what God does.  When you give Him all of you, the pollutants and all, He transforms you into something new to be of good service. You may go through some “heat” from others, but it is so worth it in the end.
