Make the most out of every situation.

Sometimes God puts circumstances in our lives that we or others may not understand why, but it is for His purpose.
Think back at different instances in your life and then discover what came out of it.  If you allow God to use you, even (maybe especially) through difficult times, you just may notice how He has brought someone or yourself closer to Him.
For instance:
·         Because you took a new job or position you were able to share God to someone and they became saved.
·         The death of someone brought someone to their funeral, and they heard the word of God and were saved.
·         You moved into a neighborhood that you were not planning on moving to and through it all you gained the greatest of friends.
·         You survived a horrific accident or a disease so that you can be a living testimony for God.
·         You survived a divorce of you parents that made you have the desire to have a stronger marriage yourself and learn forgiveness, faith, and love.
I know I have had many occasions in my own life that have made me a better person because of it.   I have either witnessed or experienced some of the above examples.  God’s original plan did not include for evil things to happen in this world.  That was all man’s fault.  God did give us free-will. It is our choice in life to make the decisions in our lives.  He desire for us to walk with Him, but He wants us to choose Him. (That’s a devotion for another time.)
In my “Walking in the Word” reading today, this happened in Samson’s life.  He was an Israelite. Judges 13:1 says, “Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord, so the Lord delivered them into the hands of the Philistines for forty years.” During this time, Samson was born to a barren woman whom God had given Samson too. God had a plan for Samson’s life from the get-go. When he grew, he chose a woman to marry who was a Philistine. Verse for says, “(His parents did not know that this was from the Lord, who was seeking an occasion to confront the Philistines; for at that time they were ruling over Israel.)” But we discover that God used this situation to eventually bring glory to Him and save His people.
Allow God to use you.  Whatever situation you may be in right now, pray for God to be brought all the glory and honor.  He will make you stronger and others’ lives could possibly be changed for the good (saved) because of what you are going through.
(If you have a testimony you can share about a situation you’ve had in your life and when you look back you totally see how God used you to bring glory to Him, I would love to hear it.  If you will allow me to share, just let me know.  If it is too personal, I will not put it all out there for all to see.  Pray about it. You just may be the voice that someone needs to hear to grow closer to God. Names can be omitted.)
Blessings to you!
