The sign says, “Will Work for Food”.
In John 6:27 this morning I read, “Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”
In verse 28 it says, “Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” There are two instructions given: Believe in and Come to Jesus.
* Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” (verse 29)
* Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” (verse 35)
“For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” John 6:40
Will you work for food that doesn’t spoil? Believe in and come to Jesus. If you do, you will have eternal life. Praise God!
