I just don’t even know what to write right now. Really. I’m reading Job, but saving his story to tell you of “Job’s Journey” at one time.
When I read 1 Corinthians I just want to say “Amen.” “Yes, preach it.” “Amen!” Put my hands in the air and praise Jesus for His love, power, and salvation. The words are eloquent yet simple; intellectual, yet can be explained easily; and powerful, oh so powerful. Amen and Amen!
Then, I read Psalms, and was reminded of how my mortal life is just that, finite. But God’s love is infinite and so worthy of my daily praise. Praise You, Jesus!
Finally I came to Proverbs, and thought about my husband’s wise ways of business and generousness in tithing and charitable giving. He totally believes in blessing others in a quiet, nonchalant way, because he knows that it all belongs to God anyhow. No glory for Tim is needed, all glory goes to God. (I love my man of integrity!)
Okay, so maybe I didn’t type a “relatable story” for you today, but oh how I hope you will open His word and soak up the goodness and truth He has to share with you. (click on the scripture below in “Walking in the Word”.
I’ll leave you with 1 Corin 2:9:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Oh me, oh my… God loves you! He has so much He wants to and will give you, if you will just love Him back, accept Him as your personal savior in your heart, and believe. I get excited just thinking about that. I can just imagine His excitement too as He is preparing it all for us. He’s like a giddy daddy with a great surprise to give you, His child. He’s waiting with great anticipation.
Blessings to you!
