“Me, memorize a whole chapter of the bible? I’m not very good at memorizing even one bible verse.”
Is this you saying this? Well, I do have a challenge for you. Get ready….I want you to memorize, with me, a WHOLE chapter from the bible. Serious! Check it out:
“1Praise the Lord, all you nations.
Praise him, all you people.
2 He loves us very much!
The Lord will be faithful to us forever!
Praise the Lord!” Psalm 117
That’s it! Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the bible. It only consists of two verses, but how awesome are those two verses!
What are we to do? Praise the Lord. Who is supposed to praise Him? All of us are to praise Him. Why? Because He loves us. How much does He love us? Very much! What’s in it for me? His complete faithfulness FOREVER. Okay then…Praise the Lord!
Are you up to the challenge? I hope so. Write it on an index card and carry it with you wherever you go, put it on the mirror in your bathroom, and post-it in your car to read while at a stop sign. You’ll discover that the more you say this, the more you’ll believe it, and the more you’ll want to be positive and godly to share His love with others.
