“Be slow to listen, quick to speak and quick to become angry.” Is that what James 1:19 says?
What about James 1:21, “Cuss like a sailor and sin all you want.”?
No way of both accounts.
God desires so much more for us. “His word is planted in us, and His word can save us.” James 1:21.
Let’s try this again.
*”My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” James 1:19.
*James 1:21 says, “Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent…”
Much like we tried those verses again the right way, let’s try our best to live our lives the right way. Verse 22 says, “not merely listen to the word, but do what it says.”
Imagine the world if we all did what God says. Blessed!
