“Lord, I cry out to you for help:
‘You are my place of safety.
You are all I need in life.’” Psalm 142:5
David wrote these words when he was in danger and in a cave. But when I read the words, “Lord, You are all I need.” I sank in my chair a bit and felt the pressures of life slip away.
We have many “wants” in our lives, especially during this season when we get caught up on the “gifts for us”. But, if we will just remember that He is the greatest gift and that He is all we need, things will work out. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
No matter what you are going through in life, Jesus is all you need. Desire Him and He will supply all (your other) needs.
Blessings to you.
