Picture from Wyatt Museum website of Noah's Ark

When I read the story of Noah and the ark in Genesis 7:1-9:7, I couldn’t help but spend some time researching about the latest findings.
A gentleman by the name of Ron Wyatt has a website detailing all his findings of the actual ark on the Ararat Mountain range. (http://www.wyattmuseum.com/noahsark.htm )  I watched videos, read articles, and got lost in all the research.  While I was studying, I was reminded of the saying by Albert Einstein, “The more I study science the more I believe in God.”
How can people not believe in God?   I just don’t get it.  Everything that is mentioned in the bible has come to pass, been found to be true, and is still applicable to our lives today, tomorrow, and forever. 2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,” . Amen!
Also, the sheer amazement of Noah’s obedience to God had my mind swirling.  I would try to imagine myself in Noah’s position as God commanded me to built and ark, rain would fall (that had never happened before), gather up all these animals (and get along with them and care for them), and every living thing on earth would die except for my family (e-ver-y-one!).  Plus, I wouldn’t be on this ark for just forty days of rain, but for over 150 days until the water receded.  Wow! I would think that I would need some serious counseling.  But, then again, the greatest Counselor would be with me the entire time. Faith!  Obedience! God-confidence!
Here’s another quote by Einstein, “The deeper one penetrates into nature’s secrets, the greater becomes one’s respect for God.” Complete respect for God!
Prayer: “Lord, I close my eyes and shake my head in amazement daily.  You are so awesome, true, powerful, and comforting.  Even when I cannot wrap my brain around the magnificent events that occurred in history, You calm me and give me complete peace and faith in You.  Thank You for everything!  Thank You for the lessons I learn from the bible and how Your scripture encourages me to want to know more and be more.  Help me to have the faith, obedience, and God-confidence like Noah in my daily walk.  Amen.”
Blessings to you!
