Are you one of those people who see things as black and white in life or do you tend to see lots of grey?
Mark 3:45, “Then Jesus asked the people, ‘Which is the right thing to do on the Sabbath day: to do good or evil? Is it right to save a life or to destroy one?’ The people said nothing to answer him. Jesus looked at the people. He was angry, but felt very sad because they were so stubborn.”
Jesus was more of a “black and white” type of guy. I’m thinking that if He was more “grey” He would tend to have the attitude of many others. So many folks try to look at “making things fair” or “political correctness” or have a “let’s make everybody happy” type of attitude.
Then, there are those who just don’t say anything. They may be afraid that if they do they will not be liked very much.
I believe that God wants us to stand up and do and say what is right. Not just on the Sabbath day, but every day. In Mark 2:27-28 it says, “Then Jesus said to the Pharisees, ‘The Sabbath day was made to help people. People were not made to be ruled by the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is lord of every day, even the Sabbath.”
Don’t be tight lipped about what’s right in God’s sight. Be immovable for God.
Blessings to you.
