“On a Sabbath day, Jesus went to the home of a leading Pharisee to eat with him. The people there were all watching him very closely.” Luke 14:1.
When you become a Christian, people watch you. They watch to see how you will react to various situations. They watch to see how you treat others. People watch and listen to you to see if your speech (and I’m not talking about your accent) is any different from their own.
We who are Christians are not perfect. But others do watch to either try to emulate, figure out what is different about us, or to try to “trip us up”.
So who do you emulate? We are to strive to be more like Christ daily.
Let people watch you and wander what makes you so different. Maybe they’ll ask you why you are the way you are, if you haven’t already told them about how God makes the difference in your life.
Blessings to you.

Recently we heard a minister say “if people aren’t asking you why you are different, then we should assume we aren’t different” Ouch, I have really been pondering this statement. I want it to be obvious that I act like my Savior.
Wow! Powerful realization. Amen to you on wanting it to be obvious that you act like your Savior. We all need to desire to do this. Thanks for sharing.
