Well, my time here on Maui has come to a close. Many memories were made.  New friends were met.  Family bonding was had.  Peace was/is felt.  I could easily call the family, work, and friends and say, “Aloha!  I’m moving. Come visit soon.” But that won’t happen.
When people ask where we are from and I tell them Florida, they get as excited as I do when someone tells me they are from Hawaii, or Italy, or Colorado, or….  I do have it pretty good where God has placed me. God has created this earth for us, and He did a fabulous job!  When He said, “It is good” I must agree.
I’m always in awe of the beauty that God has provided for us.  I took this picture last night at dinner.  It was on our sixth day here on the island, and God’s word was fitting for this spectacular scene. Genesis 1:31 says, “God looked at everything He had made. And he saw that everything was very good.  There was evening, and then there was morning. This was the sixth day.”
Vacation time was “good”.  Life is “good”.  God is “awesome”!
I wanted to update you on the taste of the candy bar “Good News”.  I have great news!  Yes, the candy bar was peanutily-tasty, but The Good News (Jesus Christ) is soooo much better!  Nothing can compare to God’s Good News, not even His glorious creation of stunning nature settings that surround us.
Blessings to you all.

Farewell Maui.
