I have a little memory lesson for you for today. It comes from 1 Corinthians 16:13-14.
With each new statement, hold up a new finger. And like I do in my classroom, I’ll even give you a choice as to how you “solve it” (remember it).  Action is required. Ready, class?
1)     “Be careful”
2)     “Stand firm in your faith”
3)     “Be courageous”
4)     “Be strong”
5)     “Do everything in love”
OR…
1)     “Keep your eyes open”
2)     “Hold tight to your convictions”
3)     “Give it all you’ve got”
4)     “Be strong”
5)     “Love without stopping”
Now, another “just like I tell my students in class”:  the more you see it, say it, write it, do it, the better you’ll remember it.  So what are you waiting for?  Get busy “Giving Five”.
Blessings and God’s abundant love to y’all.
Oh my, I even just made up motions to go with it.  (That’s the “old” cheerleader in me).  Try it.  Use both hands.
For:
1)     Point to your eyes.
2)     Put your hands out in front of you as if you were holding something.
3)     Stretch your arms out with a slant, like a “V” lying down.
4)     Show your arm muscles.
5)     Cross arms over your heart.
Oh to be a fly on the wall.  I would love to see you trying this.  Just think of the crazy looks you’ll get trying this.  But, hey, it will start a conversation.  Give someone else “Five”.
