I LOVE…..teaching youth! Throughout my adult life I’ve either taught kids in public school, children’s choir, or Sunday school. Kids, kids, and more kids, of all ages. Bring’em on!
At this time I have the privilege of co-teaching a 9th grade girls’ Sunday school class with two “Fab”-ulous friends (Jeanne and Kellie).
Today was “Super Sunday” at our church (http://fbcpc.com/ ). Our class totally got into the spirit of things and wore matching “Fab” (freshman) t-shirts. We may not (or maybe? A recount has been requested) have won our friendly competition between classes for attendance, but we sure enjoyed the fight for first.
I LOVE our group of girls! I LOVE my church! I LOVE getting God’s word brought to me, speaking to me, and even at times making me feel uncomfortable.
In Hebrew 10:24-25 it says, “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” I sure hope that you have a class or church home to not-neglect gathering with. Fellowship with other Christians is important. It is vital to keeping you accountable in your walk with Christ, and for encouraging you to grow closer to Him.
Do you LOVE your church? I do!
I pray God’s abundant love and blessings for y’all.
