I’m sitting outside in what I call “The Shuff Backyard Oasis”, watching the NCAA tournaments, enjoying the gorgeous weather, and ready for the fire to set the stage for a wonderful evening, when I hear this bird tweeting. This wasn’t just any tweet. It was a loud and powerful call to another bird. I looked up in the old oak tree and located this tiny bird hopping around on the top branches. It may have been tiny, but it was powerful!
This bird reminded me of 1 Timothy 4:12, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
No matter how young or seasoned you are in age or in your walk with Christ, be loud and proud to be a Child of God.
