“I remember your true faith. That kind of faith first belonged to your grandmother Lois and to your mother Eunice. I know you now have that same faith.” 2 Timothy 1:5
When I read this bible verse that Paul wrote to Timothy I couldn’t help but be so grateful for the ladies in my life. On both sides of my family I had wonderful, godly grandmothers and a mother to be examples in my life.
From these ladies I learned the characteristics that God desires for us to have: “But the fruit that the Spirit produces in a person’s life is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23.
I hope and pray that you have these types of ladies in your life to help mold you into the type of person God wants you to be.
Whether they are family or “spiritual” family, take time to thank them if they are still alive. If you are “maturing” in age, I pray that you (male or female) are and will be a godly example to others, young or old, in your life.
I pray many blessings and much joy for you! Have a wonderful day. – Stephanie
