“Be happy because of the hope you have. Be patient when you have troubles. Pray all the time.”Romans 12:12
I don’t know what you may be going through, or have gone through, or what you will go through, but I know this verse helps me.
I have hope. Hope in the fact that Jesus is and always will be in control. I have hope that as I often say, “This too shall pass.” I have hope that no matter what may happen in life, when I keep my focus and trust in God, God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (Romans 8:28). Yes, I have hope.
I try (get that…try…not perfected) to be patient for all the same reasons above. I must be patient because I know that God has been and is patient with me.
Pray all the time…check! I’m a mother for goodness sake. My knees probably have calluses from praying without ceasing.
Oh yea, what were those first two words? Be happy. Yes, that’s it. Be happy. James 1:2 instruct us to “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds”
I pray many blessings and much joy for you! Have a wonderful day. – Stephanie
