“So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Last Day of school! Whoop Whoop!
When I read 1 Thessalonians 5:11 this morning I couldn’t help but think of the amazing folks that I am surrounded by daily at work.
Pam, Vickie, Gail, Tonya, Lauren, Deana, Laura, Brooke, Kerri, Miranda, Cindy, Matt, and myself; we create a lunch crew that lift each other up and make each other laugh a lot. Just like Romans 12:15 states, “Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep”, we do.
I believe we were all a little happy (okay, a LOT) when the final bell rang today.
Let the summertime begin!
I hope you have friends, co-workers, family, etc. that you are surrounded by that encourage one another, build up each other in faith, and rejoice and cry with one another.
I pray many blessings and much joy for you! Have a wonderful day. – Stephanie
20 years ago Deerwood Elementary 2nd grade? Ring a bell? Kyle Calloway, Clarence, Michael Scali, Matt Locicero lol do they ring a bell 🙂
Wow! Absolutely! This is Matt? How are you? How did you find me on here? What are you doing now? Find me on FB.
Lol, I saw you on Renee Sutphin’s facebook like 3 years ago and wanted to look up the blog I saw linked to your name that I remembered seeing. I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior in 2013 after much thought and contemplation about religion for a while. I remember so much from my childhood years 🙂 How have you been in all these years and do you remember a lot of detail of your teaching days from back then? Your class is one that sticks out, Yellow Submarine play, watching Beauty and the Beast ect ect. Lol
Oh yeah and very beautiful blog
I am soooo excited that you gave your heart and life to Christ. I want to encourage you to stay close to Him.
Also, remember that is all about a relationship with Him, not a religion. 🙂
You have no idea how much your words mean to me as a teacher. Thank you for letting it “stick out” for you. I sure hope you had wonderful memories from it. I know that I loved my three years at Deerwood. I’ll catch up with you on FB. Take care.
Thanks. I always pray for God to speak to me and through me. It’s all Him! I hope you’ll find some entries that speak to you and share them with others. I just want others to know Jesus and grow closer to Him.
Yep it’s a relationship rather then a religion I agree 100% =D
