carQuick thought:
The other day I detailed my vehicle inside and out. I love putting some sweat into something and being satisfied with my work. There were a few marks on it where someone had dinged it in a parking lot. At first I wasn’t sure if the marks could be removed, but after I put a little “elbow grease” into it, wahla…my vehicle looks brand new.
This made me think about people in our society. There are folks, who are able, who think life should be handed to them, that they don’t have to put in much (if any) work to be rewarded, or whatever the case…I call it being lazy!
People…don’t be lazy. You want something, work for it. Don’t do the job half-heartedly, give it all you’ve got. Appreciate the fact that you have the ability to work. You’ll reap a great reward in the end. Don’t give up. Persevere through the hard-times and do your best. Make yourself feel proud of a job well done, knowing you did your best. Better yet, put a smile on God’s face after doing a job well done.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” Colossians 3:23
“Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.” Proverbs 13:4
“Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave.” Proverbs 12:24
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.Galatians 6:9
I pray many blessings and much joy for you! Have a wonderful day. – Stephanie
