kingdomsHumble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:10
I thought that today’s verse fit well with a powerful phrase that my pastor mentioned in his sermon recently. He said, “Your kingdom must go before God’s kingdom can come.”
My thoughts are going in so many directions right now, so I will just leave you with a couple of thoughts and some words of wisdom for God’s word to marinate on and in today:

  • I don’t know about you, but I would must rather have security and peace in knowing that I built my home on solid ground instead of sinking sand. God is solid!
  • Allow God to build you upon His firm foundation, and not on yourself.
  • Be humble.
  • Surrender yourself to God…completely.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble…Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; He lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Psalm 46:1, 6-7
“The mountains may disappear, and the hills may become dust, but my faithful love will never leave you.  I will make peace with you, and it will never end.” The Lord who loves you said this. Isaiah 54:10
Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.” Matthew 12:25
“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.” Matthew 7:21
I pray that you will enjoy soaking up The Son every moment of each day. –Stephanie
