Truth…I’ve experienced it…when you start your day with/giving it to God, everything that needs to get done will fall into place.
Too many times I’ve made “to-do” list or just had a ton of things that “I” wanted to get done, and what happens…I get stressed with the busyness of it all and the timeline that I’ve put on myself.
Making a list is all good, but what needs to happen is when you make your list, give it to The Creator and watch Him create the time to accomplish those priorities needed like you’ve never seen.
In my experience, every single time, truly (!), that I give my day/list/needs/wants to God and put Him first, my lengthy list gets done and there is even time to rest in the end or sprinkled throughout the day.
When I’ve tried to complete my “to do” list on my own, I get frazzled. But when I give it to God, it all works out. Try it.
So, let’s start today all over again…Good morning. It’s a new day. Treat today as if it is the first day of your new life. And…if there was something on your list that didn’t get done, guess what…it didn’t need to get done or God would have done it for you.
I want to encourage you to start each day with God through prayer, and a little time in the word is always a double whammy to jump start your day. Thank Him. Give it all to Him. He’s got your back.
“The Lord says, “I will teach you and guide you in the way you should live. I will watch over you and be your guide.” Psalm 32:8 He will guide your steps and show you how to live. You just need to let Him and spend some time with Jesus.
“Don’t worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks for what you have. 7 And because you belong to Christ Jesus, God’s peace will stand guard over all your thoughts and feelings. His peace can do this far better than our human minds.” Philippians 4:6-7Trust me…His ways are far better than our ways. Give it to Him.
The Master said, “Martha, dear Martha, you’re fussing far too much and getting yourself worked up over nothing. One thing only is essential, and Mary has chosen it—it’s the main course, and won’t be taken from her.” Luke 10:41-42Don’t busy yourself like Martha, but sit at the feet of Jesus like Mary. He is the main thing!
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16Each day…renew yourself in His word and love.
