“Lord, you are my God.  I honor You and praise Your name, because you did amazing things. The words You said long ago are completely true; everything happened exactly as You said it would.” Isaiah 25:1

He did. He does. He will.

In this verse Isaiah praised God for what He DID. He honored God because God did what He said He would do. Friend, don’t just praise our Heavenly Father for what He has done, but for what He IS doing in your life now, and for what He HAS PLANNED for you in the future.

“I will praise the Lord all my life. I will sing praises to Him as long as I live.” Psalm 146:2

“My God will use His glorious riches to give you everything you need. He will do this through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

Even, especially, praise Him through the tough times and for the difficult seasons. He is building character in and through you through it all.
I took the letters from Soak Up The Son and turned it into an acronym. Why? I’m not sure,(ask God) but I guess someone could use it to help them. If you like it, thank God and apply it to your life.
Say your prayers throughout the day. God never puts His telephone on hold. His chat line is always open.
Open your eyes to what He wants you to see, your ears to what He is longing for you to hear, and your heart and mind to His will for you life.
Appreciate all that He has done, is doing, and will do in and through your life.
Keep your focus on God.
Understand that God’s ways are better than your ways.
Prepare to be WOWed by God in your prayer life.
Turn from your selfish ways, and turn to Jesus.
Humble yourself in realizing that this life is NOT about you.
Embrace God’s word and keep it close to your heart and on your mind. Don’t let go! He won’t of you.
Simply be real with God. He doesn’t need any fancy words or for you to say words you don’t really comprehend their meaning. Be real and give it all to God.
Overcome your fears and failures with the peace of God. He has already overcome the world, so I’m pretty sure He can handle your issues.
Never let go of God! Hold on tight and praise Him all day long.

I pray that you will enjoy soaking up The Son every moment of each day. –Stephanie
