I was excited when I read this morning scripture.
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” Ephesians 6:10-11
I was excited for a few reasons. One, in about two weeks my sweet friend, Krista, and I will be facilitating Pricilla Shirer’s bible study, Armor of God, with young women who are seniors in high school. Helping to prepare them for college life and beyond. I. Am. So. Pumped!
Secondly, these verses are powerful reminders of how we need to wake up and prepare ourselves each-day-of-our-lives! Satan thrives on bringing and causing chaos in our lives. THAT brings him delight. A devilish delight. But…if we will take a stand each morning, and remind ourselves throughout the day, to be strong in the Lord (not ourselves or others). When deciding what to wear, first clothe yourself in the FULL armor of God. Why? So you can stand up against anything Satan throws your way.
Finally, I knew I’ve journaled about Ephesians 6:10 before, so I searched it on the website. Eight entries came up. I hope that you will click here (for all eight)to see which of these speak to you. They cover topics on (individual links to click on beside each topic):
