Revelation3:20

If only you would listen to His voice today! Psalm 95:7b

Do you ever feel like you are speaking and in mid-sentence you wonder or even say out loud, “Is anyone even listening to me?”
Especially now with an electronic device attached to just about everyone’s hand, and their eyes glued to it as if it is their saving grace, one must wonder, “Is anyone listening to me?”
How do you think God feels? Listen, seriously…He has given us Life’s Instruction Book (the bible) to read and listen to in order to guide and instruct us how to live our daily lives. He is available for a chat, through prayer, 24/7. He has gifted folks with a talent to provide music either via instruments or their voice. He equips others to write in a way that helps us understand Him and His ways more clearly. As I’m sitting here now, He causes the rain to patter on the landscape as if He is sending kisses from Heaven. Whether His ways are audible or visual or even by means of a touch, God is either whispering or shouting at you to HEAR HIS VOICE.

My sheep listen to My voice. I know them, and they follow Me. 28 I give My sheep eternal life. They will never die, and no one can take them out of My hand. John 10:27-28

When God speaks, we better listen. Hear Him. Follow Him. There is life, ETERNAL LIFE, to delight in. OH…and when you are His…He has you in the palm of His hand, FOREVER. Sweet!

So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. Romans 10:17

How do you become His? Through faith. The Good News is being shared. We need to share it with others so that they too can relish in the goodness that God has to offer.

“And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 28:1-2

Blessings upon blessings will overtake you! Don’t you want to be blessed beyond what you can even imagine? Well, God’s got some for you. Choose to listen to Him.
God may be speaking to you through a relationship, a job, a change of occupation, a song, a struggle (Oh, YES!, He speaks through these seasons.), etc. Remember the bible verse regarding “There is a time for everything” in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8?
There is a right time for everything, and everything on earth will happen at the right time. There is a time to be born and a time to die. There is a time to plant and a time to pull up plants. There is a time to kill  and a time to heal. There is a time to destroy and a time to build. There is a time to cry and a time to laugh. There is a time to be sad and a time to dance with joy. There is a time to throw weapons down and a time to pick them up. There is a time to hug someone and a time to stop holding so tightly. There is a time to look for something and a time to consider it lost. There is a time to keep things and a time to throw things away. There is a time to tear cloth and a time to sew it. There is a time to be silent and a time to speak. There is a time to love and a time to hate. There is a time for war and a time for peace.
Well, through it all…God is speaking. Listen to Him, today and always.
Have a wonderful day.
I pray that you will enjoy soaking up THE SON every moment of each day. –Stephanie
