I love my man.

I love my man.

Today is my husband’s birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TIM!
Allow me to share something, okay…a few things, with you about Tim. Throughout these past thirteen days he has proven himself to be a true man of God.
In Philippians 2:14 it says, “Do everything without grumbling or arguing”. My man has cooked, done the laundry, cleaned, dealt with the dealings of our home renovation, hung décor, ran errands, grocery shopped, and SO much more while I have been awaiting surgery (this coming Wednesday…finally!) on my broken leg. Yesterday he came and ask me, “What do you usually mop the floor with to get rid of the footprints?” Bless him! He has done EVERYTHING without complaining. I haven’t even seen an eye roll. He has truly lived out Philippians 2:14 with me.
Tim had planned to be gone for a few days hunting (‘tis the season), but he has set aside his trip to take care of his honey. Once again, and in more ways than delaying a hunting trip, Tim has lived out God’s word: “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13
When we were married twenty-five years ago, the infamous bible verses from 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 were read:
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way’ it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Praise the Lord Tim is a bible believing man. He’s definitely been patient and kind, not rude nor arrogant, or irritable or resentful (that he’s displayed, *wink*). The past two weeks he’s endured a lot by taking on my role as well as his.
Now it’s my turn to live out God’s word for Tim when I tell you how thankful I am for my man!
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Thank you, Tim, for not only being my husband, caregiver, and best friend, but for being a godly example of a man of integrity for our children and those around you. You are a wonderful provider for our family. You are a charitable man and believes in taking care of others. Thank you for not only being the man of God you are for the past thirteen days, but throughout your life. God blessed me when He gave me you.
I’m sure I totally embarrassed you, but I just wanted to share my joy with others.
Happy Birthday!
I love you!
