“The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” Psalm 37:23 This photo may not seem like much to you, but for me it is HUGE. Every since I broke my tibia and fibula and dislocated my ankle, the day before Thanksgiving, I’ve either laid around with my foot propped up, iced, in a splint, in a walking boot, or something that kept me from taking steps with both feet.
Well, last Tuesday the doc gave me permission to start walking in my boot then sneakers (this week). Since I was just at home relaxing, I thought I’d try on my comfy slippers and walk. I did!! Not only did I slowly walk in my slippers, I also cautiously mopped my floors. Y’all, that’s exciting for me!
God has shown me many truths and taught me a numerous lessons over the past two months.
Today: “One step at a time.”
That is what God wants from us, to take life one-step-at-a-time…with Him.
I may have a steel plate and 6 screws in me now, but this girl knows that her real strength comes from the Lord.
I pray that you will allow the Lord to direct your steps. Yes, one-step-at-a-time. He delights in you! He wants to show you how to walk with Him. When you do, your steps will be purposeful and mighty. Blessings to you! Love, Stephanie
He also said in moderation. Love you honey and so glad to see you doing your blog.
