“You now have unlimited access”. Wait…what? Sweet!
Living out where we live, we do not have WIFI. Unlimited data on our phones? Sure, but who wants to type devotionals on a little phone to keep Soaking Up The Son thriving? Okay, I did…rarely…but the challenge did deflate some joy from me. Then, when my dad gave me limited jetpack access, the website was somewhat back in service. But…now…unlimited access! Thank You, sweet Jesus, and the desire for this site to flourish goes out to my dad and step-mom.
When I pushed the power button on the jetpack, I felt relief and energized to see the words 0.00 GB/Unlimited. It reminded me of a Power source that we (Christians) have unlimited access to as well.
In Ephesians 2:18 we discover that “For through Him we both (Jew and Gentile) have access to the Father by one Spirit.” We don’t have to go through any other source, no third-party connection, or perform any chants to gain access to Jesus. When you put your trust in Christ, your connection with Him is limitless.
How to have direct access? Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 Put your trust in Him.
Who do you need to pray to to have your prayers heard? Talk straight to God! “So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” John 14:6 Notice that we are instructed to come boldly to Him. Go to God with confidence.
 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. Romans 5:2
Don’t only go with a god-confidence, yet with much joy! To God be all the glory!
