I love me some Francesca Battistelli.  This morning, as I was returning home, her  song, “He Knows My Name”, came across the radio waves.
As much as I love me some Francesca, I love my brother more. Just before her song came on, I was thinking about how excited I was to come home are write a little diddy about my brother’s book.
In Francesca’s song, the chorus reads:

I don’t need my name in lights
I’m famous in my Father’s eyes
Make no mistake
He knows my name
I’m not living for applause
I’m already so adored
It’s all His stage
He knows my name

True.  My brother doesn’t need his name in lights, he’s already famous in our Father’s eyes. Yet, I feel that God has big plans for Mike.
He is a gifted speaker and his book is real and encouraging.
Much like the last verse in her song starts out:

I’m not meant to just stay quiet
I’m meant to be a lion
I’ll roar beyond a song
With every moment that I’ve got

Mike isn’t meant to stay quiet about His experience and love for God.  He is ready to roar and share Jesus in a compassionate way with others.
As much as I love me some Francesca, and as much as I love my brother, I LOVE me some Jesus the most! I hope to see His name and love being shared by my brother, Michael Louis Parker.
