Can you relate to this piece of furniture?  Seriously…listen…
When I first procured this adorably shaped table, it was a hot mess.  The legs were wobbly and cracked, the drawer was falling apart (Well, it actually did fall apart.), and the paint was in need of some attention.  This table was in a complete shamble.
After a few screws were secured, quite a bit of sanding, a new piece of wood and a new glass knob for the drawer was affixed, and a fresh coat of color…this adorably shaped table came to life.
Now…some may look at the color choice and think it is a bit loud, too colorful, needs to be neutralized, and on and on.
Others may notice that, not just a few, but an abundance of screws were fastened to hold the wood together.  Two new pieces of wood were attached to stabilize the wobbly legs.
Yes, if you look too closely, you may think that there is still much needed repair to be done.
But…look inside. God’s Word is printed in the drawer.
Now, do you see how you could possibly relate to this table?
We are all a bit cracked, broken, and in need of repair.  Well, guess what?  God can do that!
Jesus is the greatest carpenter!
Allow Christ to repair you and give you life.  An abundant life!
But I came to give life—life that is full and good. John 10:10b
People will see that your life has changed.  They may have their opinions of you on the outside, but WHO CARES…it’s what’s on the inside that matters.
Keep God’s Word in you, and allow His love and goodness to radiant through you.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.  Matthew 5:16

Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
