It’s a Praying-Kind-of-Day.
When is it not a praying-kind-of-day?
In Ephesians 6:18 we read, Pray in the Spirit at all times.  Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need.  To do this you must always be ready.  Never give up.  Always pray for all of God’s people.
This morning, without knowing how my day would proceed, I put on my “I will pray for y’all” shirt (Thanks, RAOK Boutique!), and slipped into my walking shoes.  I just knew that today was going to be a day of prayer with this assemble.  So…I chose to create a Facebook Live video about how I turn the Christmas cards we receive each year into praying cards. CLICK HERE to watch the video on Facebook.  If you aren’t on this form of social media, you’ll get the idea of my conversation by reading these two journal entries from the past:
Christmas Cards…Praying Cards
What Do You Do with Your Christmas Cards?
Oh how I hope you will read (or refresh your memory) these postings.
Y’all, God is so good.  When we communicate/pray with Him, He listens…He answers…He is pleased.
It is my prayer that you will feel consumed with the love of God as you strive to chat with Him through each day.
Like the words instruct us in Ephesians:

  • Pray at ALL times
  • Ask
  • Be ready
  • Never GIVE up
  • Pray for others

In The Message translations is says, “God’s Word is an indispensable weapon.  In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare.  Pray hard and long.  Pray for your brothers and sisters.  Keep your eyes open.  Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.”
Please know that you are prayed for, my brothers and sisters!  I’m praying for you. I want to encourage you to pray.  It is essential!
Much love and God’s countless blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
