Y’all, do you sometimes need or crave God’s approval on situations that have occurred in your life? I do.  Constantly.  He often gives me life lessons through every day scenarios, and they are often silly to others, yet hold much truth.  Well…this weekend, on more than one occasion, He confirmed what He had put on my heart to say or pray or do, via His word…the bible.  Imagine that. LOL.  The Lord teaching me something through His written word.  (*wink*)
Watch today’s “Minute-less/MORE Monday” for the full story. (posted below)
Here are the bible verses I share in the video:
Saturday morning:
Philippians 4:4 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
Always be filled with joy in the Lord. I will say it again. Be filled with joy.
Philippians 4:6-7 New International Version (NIV)
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
————a take-away from this retreat—-“When Satan says, you can’t, agree and say you’re right, but with Christ I can”——John 15:5, I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you stay joined to me, and I to you, you will produce plenty of fruit. But separated from me you won’t be able to do anything.”
Sunday morning:
James 5:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
———–take-away from the verse—–the words, audience, and prayers regarding the night before’s conversation was right.
———–a take-away from Sunday’s sermon——-there are four pillars to a relationship: love, respect, trust, and forgiveness.  The only one we are NOT commanded to do with others is trust.  It is merited.  Whom can we trust in? God! And God alone.
Today:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 New International Version (NIV)
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
I pray that you will seek His word.  Allow Him to share truth, teach you, and confirm a few things with you regarding situations in your life (right or wrong).  Be a “God Digger”.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
