Today’s “Motivational Monday” video is below.
I had barely reached the beach when my hat went flying off my head. The wind was whipping and whirling. My hand was reaching for the hat, when the wind carried it down the shoreline. I could have become frustrated or given up and let it fly, but I persevered. Chasing my hat down the beach may have looked a little silly, but…finally, I was able to put it under my foot, and then I had to adjust the tightness so my hat would stay on my head for the reminder of the walk.
Just like that scenario, we have to make adjustments in our lives. Winds whirl and storms occur in our lives. When they do, and when we cry out and hang on the Christ, He will eventually put His foot down on it.
Through the storms in life, we have a choice. We can either get mad, give up, or persevere through it all. In order to get through it, we need to adjust our attitude or perspective.
Do you need an attitude adjustment? No matter where you are in your storm/troubles/trials, it’s not too late to make an adjustment. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Keep your focus/perspective on God. He will see you through it.
You are tougher than you think you are…with Christ. Allow Him to be your strength.
Remember how I wrote the other day and quoted the speaker at my ladies’ conference…”When Satan tells you you can’t, agree with him, and tell him, ‘You’re right. I can’t. But with Christ I can do it.”

The Lord is my shepherd. I will always have everything I need. He gives me green pastures to lie in. He leads me by calm pools of water. He restores my strength. He leads me on right paths to show that he is good. Even if I walk through a valley as dark as the grave, I will not be afraid of any danger, because you are with me. Your rod and staff comfort me. You prepared a meal for me in front of my enemies. You welcomed me as an honored guest. My cup is full and spilling over. Your goodness and mercy will be with me all my life, and I will live in the Lord’s house a long, long time. Psalm 23:1-6 ERV

So I beg you, brothers and sisters, because of the great mercy God has shown us, offer your lives[a] as a living sacrifice to him—an offering that is only for God and pleasing to him. Considering what he has done, it is only right that you should worship him in this way. 2 Don’t change yourselves to be like the people of this world, but let God change you inside with a new way of thinking. Then you will be able to understand and accept what God wants for you. You will be able to know what is good and pleasing to him and what is perfect. Romans 12:1-2

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Father who is full of mercy, the God of all comfort.4 He comforts us every time we have trouble so that when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
