Be happy because of the hope you have. Be patient when you have troubles. Pray all the time. Romans 12:12
Today is National Day of Prayer Day.
How can I pray for you?
Please either comment below, comment on the Soaking up The Son Facebook page, or privately email me at [email protected].
Here are just a skim of the surface of bible verses on prayer:
Pray in the Spirit at all times. Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready. Never give up. Always pray for all of God’s people. Ephesians 6:18
So I tell you to ask for what you want in prayer. And if you believe that you have received those things, then they will be yours.   Mark 11:24
Never stop praying. 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Also, the Spirit helps us. We are very weak, but the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We don’t know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit himself speaks to God for us. He begs God for us, speaking to him with feelings too deep for words. Romans 8:26
‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’  Jeremiah 33:3
“When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites. They love to stand in the synagogues and on the street corners and pray loudly. They want people to see them. The truth is, that’s all the reward they will get. But when you pray, you should go into your room and close the door. Then pray to your Father. He is there in that private place. He can see what is done in private, and he will reward you. “And when you pray, don’t be like the people who don’t know God. They say the same things again and again. They think that if they say it enough, their god will hear them. Don’t be like them. Your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:5-8
Pray to the Lord, and he will hear you.  He will save you from all your troubles. Psalm 34:17
Never stop praying. Be ready for anything by praying and being thankful. Colossians 4:2
and if my people who are called by my name become humble and pray, and look for me, and turn away from their evil ways, then I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin and heal their land.  2 Chronicles 7:14
I love and am praying for you!
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
