Every day is not rainbows, butterflies, and sandcastles…but this morning started out that way.
While going for my morning walk, it was as if God lifted my head and gazed my eyes on His promises.  I looked up into the sky and saw a beautiful rainbow through the palm trees.  How can I not get a smile on my face and breathe a deep sigh of gratitude towards my Heavenly Father. Glory!
As the walk continued, a fluttering butterfly joined me for a few seconds.  This beautiful and delicate creature reminded me how fragile life is, and how when we give our life to Christ, He transforms us.
Finally, the gentle breeze coming from the gulf, the whispering of the peaceful waves, and the castle built of sand was like a kiss on my face reminding me how I serve a mighty God.  The God who calms the storms in life. A life that needs to have a firm foundation in Jesus Christ, and not a life built of the sands of our world.

It is my prayer for you today that you will allow God to be The Lifter of your head.  Look up and see the promise-reminders He has for you today.  I want to encourage you to stand firm in your faith with Christ and authorize Him to be The Boss of your life. Life is fragile, live each day to bring glory to God and put a smile on His face.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
