Everyone who does evil hates the light. They will not come to the light, because the light will show all the bad things they have done. But anyone who follows the true way comes to the light. Then the light will show that whatever they have done was done through God. John 3:20-21
The first part of the above scripture makes me cringe.  Yet, all scripture is true and here to teach us. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) We have a choice here, turn a blinds eye to the wrong we do in our lives and remain living in darkness, or…step into the light and allow God to reveal to us what we need to improve on and follow His ways.  Remember, His ways are perfect. He knows what is best for us. So why not follow The Light?
Trust me…you may think that once you follow Him all the “fun” in life is over, but HA!…the fun is truly just beginning. Follow Him.
For You have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life. Psalm 56:13
Lord, Your loyal followers are happy.  They live in the light of Your kindness. Psalm 89:15
Later, Jesus talked to the people again.  He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never live in darkness.  They will have the light that gives life.” John 8:12
Oh friend, I pray that you will be happy! Choose Happy! Live in the kindness of Christ and seek to follow him daily. I want to encourage you to live in The Light so that you may truly live.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie

Just a couple of journal entries on walking in the light:

  • Last night I opened the door to my bedroom and it was pitch dark. I knew the steps to take to get to my side of the bed, but I still used by hands and shuffled my feet to feel my way. I made it without stubbing my toe on an unexpected object or bumping a body part into a piece of protruding furniture, but it sure would have been preferable and less apprehensive if I had a little light to guide my steps…Click here to read more on the journal entry titled,  “Do you need a light to guide you?”
  • In 1 John 1:5-10 there are some ughs and some yeahs, and glory to God for setting us straight. Are you walking in the light? Please click here to read this journal entry.
