When I woke from my dream, I felt the weight of past wrongs on me like a heavy blanket.  Laying there, almost paralyzed, I began praying and asking for forgiveness.  The weight became lighter the more I prayed.
I snuggled up to my man and held him tight.  It was a morning that I didn’t want to leave his side.
When I reached for my phone to view the scripture for the day, I had to smile at the appropriateness of it in coinciding with my dream.

“Wash yourselves and make yourselves clean. Stop doing the evil things I see you do. Stop doing wrong. Learn to do good. Treat people fairly. Punish those who hurt others. Speak up for the widows and orphans. Argue their cases for them in court.  Isaiah 1:16-17 ERV

I felt a cleansing that morning, and a reminder that the time is near.

Some takeaways from the video for me were:

  • Be warned
  • Say “I love you!”
  • Repent
  • Forgive
  • God’s grace is available
  • Freedom

I pray that as you begin this new year, you will make sure your relationship with Jesus Christ is solid.  Remember, it’s NOT about religion, it is a personal relationship with God’s one and only Son.
Lake of fire:  But those who are cowards, those who refuse to believe, those who do terrible things, those who kill, those who sin sexually, those who do evil magic, those who worship idols, and those who tell lies—they will all have a place in the lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”  Revelation 21:8 ERV
Repentance:  The Lord is not being slow in doing what he promised—the way some people understand slowness. But God is being patient with you. He doesn’t want anyone to be lost. He wants everyone to change their ways and stop sinning.  2 Peter 3:9 ERV
Forgiveness:  But if we confess our sins, God will forgive us. We can trust God to do this. He always does what is right. He will make us clean from all the wrong things we have done.  1 John 1:9 ERV
Grace:  I mean that you have been saved by grace because you believed. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God.  Ephesians 2:8
The Word became a man and lived among us. We saw his divine greatness—the greatness that belongs to the only Son of the Father. The Word was full of grace and truth. Yes, the Word was full of grace and truth, and from him we all received one blessing after another. That is, the law was given to us through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. The only Son is the one who has shown us what God is like. He is himself God and is very close to the Father.  John 1:14,16-18
That same removal of weight of wrongs is available to you too!  Turn to Jesus.  Feel joy and love in God’s grace.  Forgiveness is freeing. Be light, and be the light.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
