Are you comfortably numb to what is right in God’s sight?
It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, He has turned away and will not listen anymore. Isaiah 59:2 NLT
When I read these words, I immediately prayed for God to show me any sin, past and present, in my life that I need to make right.  Praying for the Holy Spirit to convict each member of my family followed.
While praying I had a thought, what if someone is so deep into living for the world, and they have traveled so far from God, that God “has turned away and will not listen anymore”?  Can someone be so deep in the world that they don’t even realize that what they are doing is a sin because they are comfortably numb to the ways of the world, or that they don’t read the Bible to truly know what is and isn’t right in God’s sight.  My heart ached for those who are wrapped up in living for themselves, that they have God’s ears turn deaf onto them.
When we are Christians, we are always in His grasp, yet He can still turn away from the sin in our lives.  It isn’t until we sincerely confess our sins that we are turning the Lord’s ears back to us.
Y’all, when we are walking with God, we will receive blessings.  When we are walking on our own path and ignoring the sacrifice and life that Jesus Christ offers, we are missing out on God’s glorious blessings.
I pray that you will ask God to examine you and lead you down the right path. Confess your sins to God the Father and stop missing out on those blessings He has for you.

God, examine me and know my mind. Test me and know all my worries. Make sure that I am not going the wrong way. Lead me on the path that has always been right.  Psalm 139:23-24

Be blessed and be right with God.  Turn from self and sin, and turn to Jesus Christ.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
