Tim and I have three unique and pretty cool adult kiddos. Hunter, Holly, and Cole each have many similarities, and also very different qualities. Parenting these three are such a blessing.
The inspiration for today’s video comes from our eldest. I’ve written about Hunter many times over these past ten years of journaling here, and his inspiration continues today:
I pray that if you’re really wanting to see something in others that others see, or need to see someone as God sees them, ask Him to open your eyes to their goodness and grace.
God wants you to be specific in your chats/prayers with Him.
Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked. “Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.” Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him. Matthew 20:30-34 NIV
Thank you, Hunter, for being the respectful man that you are. I love you!
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
