And do what you learned and received from me—what I told you and what you saw me do. And the God who gives peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9 ERV
I’m so grateful for God’s reminders, truth, and His God-breathed pages of the Bible.
Y’all, one of the statements I’ve shared numerous times, which was shared with me multiple times, is “you just may be the only bible that people read.” So, what do your actions say about you? Others may never come in direct communication with you, but they sure see what you are doing.
Enjoy today’s word of encouragement:

Friend, I pray that you will be intentional in what you DO each day. Let others see you living a life for Christ, and not for self. Allow God to work in and through you each day. Whatever you DO, DO for the Lord and not for man. Maybe you need to stop for a moment, ask the Lord to forgive you for the sin in your life.  Be specific and sincere in your repentance. Start fresh with the Lord each morning. It’s a great day to begin anew.
Here are just a few verses to remind you to DO:
If we obey what God has told us to do, then we are sure that we know Him. If we say we know God but do not obey His commands, we are lying. The truth is not in us. But when we obey God’s teaching, His love is truly working in us. This is how we know that we are living in Him. If we say we live in God, we must live the way Jesus lived. 1 John 2:3-6 ERV
Work brings profit, but mere talk leads to poverty! Proverbs 14:23 NLT
They say they know God, but the evil things they do show that they don’t accept him. They are disgusting. They refuse to obey God and are not capable of doing anything good. Titus 1:16 ERV
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10 NIV
Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Colossians 3:23 NLT
But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1:22 NLT
Yes, you must show mercy to others. If you do not show mercy, then God will not show mercy to you when he judges you. But the one who shows mercy can stand without fear before the Judge. My brothers and sisters, if a person claims to have faith but does nothing, that faith is worth nothing. Faith like that cannot save anyone. Suppose a brother or sister in Christ comes to you in need of clothes or something to eat. And you say to them, “God be with you! I hope you stay warm and get plenty to eat,” but you don’t give them the things they need. If you don’t help them, your words are worthless. It is the same with faith. If it is just faith and nothing more—if it doesn’t do anything—it is dead. James 2:13-17 ERV
My children, our love should not be only words and talk. No, our love must be real. We must show our love by the things we do. 1 John 3:18 ERV
When anyone is in Christ, it is a whole new world. The old things are gone; suddenly, everything is new! 2 Corinthians 5:17 ERV Today is a new day…go DO for God.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
