Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth. Colossians 3:2 NASB
In my dream I was in a locally owned restaurant. I had noticed a friend on the other side of the room and began having a conversation with them from a distance. It wasn’t long before the crowd started arriving and filling up the space. The louder the restaurant grew with conversation and movement, the more difficult it became to focus on and hear my friend. I had to move closer to them in order to continue our dialogue.
It was at that moment God whispered to me, “The more noise and busyness there is around, the more you have to draw near to Me.”
Do you have noise and busyness evading your space and vying for your attention? Is this clamor trying to distract your focus on Jesus and putting it more on the world?
Friend, draw near to The One who can calm all your fears, bring peace and joy to you in all circumstances, and fill you with unexplainable joy.
In my dream, my friend was Jesus. With each step I took to carry on our conversation, my eyes were fixed on Him until I came face to face with Him. I pray that you will fix your eyes on my Friend and chat with Him daily.
Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm. Colossians 3:2 TPT
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
