Are you okay with us taking a bit longer than sixteen days to read through the book of Romans? Well, we are. There is so much goodness in here, and the videos can be lengthy, so I’m going to read less verses in order to have shorter videos. Are you with me?
Take-aways from today:
- ”Digging Deep in God’s word” may look differently for each of us. That’s totally fine! Just spend time in His word and get to know your Jesus…truly know Him.
- We are NOT the judge! God is the Judge.
- We need to be more like our Heavenly Daddy: kind, tolerant, and patient.
- From Dr. Tony Evan’s, “The Jews, you see, had made the same mistake we often do: they mistook God’s patience for his absence.”
- Live for God’s glory, honor, and life.
- Don’t just read or listen to God’s word, but obey. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. James 1: 23-24
Stay tune for the second half of chapter two of Romans.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
(This precious fawn in the photo has nothing to do with today’s devotion, but it is so stinkin’ adorable!! It was the tiniest fawn I’ve ever seen! Stood about 12-15” tall. Pant for God’s word, like a deer pants for water. Grow on His goodness, as I pray this deer grows strong.)
