Walking the beach in the early morning is so refreshing and invigorating.
My walk, on this particular morning, was a bit more tedious than usual. The tide was high, causing me to either walk in the thick sand or where the water washes up onto the shore resulting in an almost quicksand effect.
When I turned around to return home, the sun was beaming down with minimal breeze or clouds. Florida’s humid atmosphere was definitely bringing about the glistening, okay…full on sweat, on my skin.
There was a couple who had sat their chairs down, facing the beautiful water. Then, they decide to position them facing east. Facing the sun. They wanted to soak up every ounce of sunshine their bodies could muster.
When I noticed them adjusting their chairs to face the sun, I thought about how we all need to adjust our views to The Son.
We must never stop looking to Jesus. He is the leader of our faith, and He is the one who makes our faith complete. He suffered death on a cross. But He accepted the shame of the cross as if it were nothing because of the joy He could see waiting for Him. And now He is sitting at the right side of God’s throne. Hebrews 12:2 ERV
Never stop looking to Jesus!
Need an adjustment? Soak up every bit of The Son that you can. Face The Son.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
